my wife and i returned to lakeside over the bank holiday, we stayed for a couple of days the previous week,
from the minute we left we was looking forward to returning
the other quests were fantastic, warm and welcoming
it really has the family feel to the place
we were first time naturists on our first visit,
within minutes of arriving you feel relaxed and at home
if you are a budding naturist or a seasoned naturist
this really is the place to be

Just wanted to say what a wonderfully friendlyh site you run. It was more like staying with friends than being away. Even though we are not first time naturists we would definately recommend this site to anybody as there is no pressure whatsoever and first timers would find it an easy way to

first may i say what a complete pleasure meeting you both,
staying at lakeside was one of the best experiances my wife and i have ever had,from the great welcome,to all the other guests,we found everybody freindly and welcoming.

the only disappointment was when we packed to leave.

A big thank you to Tony and Vera for making us feel very welcome. We stayed in May and this was our first time as naturists. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay so much we came back again in July and enjoyed it even more. The most relaxing time we have ever experienced.

Many thanks for letting us visit you for a few hours on Sunday. Got to say first impressions are really really good and very impressed with what you are doing. Your complex is clean and fresh looking and for new or seasoned naturists it is ideal all round. Your caravans and rooms are clean and well provided so only too happy to now tell people we have been and can recommend first hand. You seem to have a magic touch about the place which we hope never loses appeal. Keep up the good work and we hope to visit again soon.

Lakeside - simply a sparkling jewel set in Lincolnshires fair crown
Just wanted to say a big thank-you for our short stay with you last week (Monday to Sunday) and let you know we arrived home safe and sound.
We love the site, location and your friendliness and helpfulness.
Coffee morning was great and thank-you so much for our gift, it will be well used and the hand outs will go to genuine and trustworthy naturists with our recommendations.

We would like to say thank you for this week end.
Vera and Tony were the best hosts we have ever encountered.very interesting couple to talk to. As first timers we were treated very well by our hosts.Both took time to spend with us,this really did put us at ease. We spent well over two hours in the hot tub with Vera and Tony on our first night.We chatted and had a few glasses of wine which was very nice and relaxed. The accomadation was 69FN, very comfortable and well equipped. M & C

Just wanted to say a quick thank you for your hospitality during my brief stay. It was a pleasure meeting you all and I thoroughly enjoyed my three days with you which was made even better by not having to go to work. We found Lakeside by chance via another web site camping UK.
Susan is a senior executive and needed some down time to relax and distress. Lakeside gave her just that. Ok so it does not have a swimming pool but what it does have is charm, friendliness and owners who do care because they live on site and listen to guest more as friends than customer and owner relationship.
The other people staying over this week helped to make this break memorable, the only down side was packing up to come home.
We tried a couple of the local pubs for meals and to be honest the food was tasteless and at the Bell when I pointed out we asked for two mint sauces I was told well you can share that, not the right answer, an answer that lost him our custom even if the food had been good.
We did find a super pub called the Fleece Inn, Market Place, Burgh Le Marsh tel: 01754 810215. This is on the way to Skegness from lakeside.
As with most pubs give the steak a miss they always over cook it. The steak pie was fantastic and Susan had a Lamb shank and the meat feel off the bone. The landlord can be a bit abrupt but he is OK and he pulls a good pint they do a dark beer, which is like an old porter beer nice and cold.
If you visit Lakeside I feel you will not want to leave, we intend to return. I seldom give a review but this is one occasion I have no hesitation in giving Lakeside my recommendation of 10 / 10.

Would just like to thank Tony and Vera for their hospitality as first time naturists - they made us feel very welcome and relaxed during our stay. We took our own caravan and it is a very nice place to stay and we will certainly be back. Thanks once again.
We booked the static tourer in June but due to late cancellation were offered the large static for a small extra charge. Smart move, Tony. We have already booked another week in the large static for September and intend to come back next year. Need we say more? Yes.
The hospitality was second to none and after the first day we were already good friends with Tony and Vera. I'm tempted to say it is a horrible place in order to stop it getting overcrowded, but cannot tell such a blatant lie, dammit! B & A.
Just a big thank you for our week at lakeside .We really did enjoy a good week of relaxation .It was nice to meet some many other people this time. We are looking at our diaries to see when we can get down again,It is so nice to have something nice to look forward to. We will be in touch soon re another stay.
