PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY. WHEN YOU MAKE A RESERVATION REQUEST WITH US (WHETHER BY EMAIL, TELEPHONE OR POST), THESE CONDITIONS ARE DEEMED TO HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED BY YOU.
Contract
The Contract for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between the Client and Lakeside Farm Holidays, the contract shall be governed by UK Law. It will be entered into when the deposit is processed and Lakeside Farm Holidays issues the confirmation letter or email. By making a reservation you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions. The Contract will be subject to the following booking conditions.
Booking
The Client making the booking agrees that they are authorised to make this booking on behalf of all persons who shall be renting the property and agrees to take full responsibility for the property and the payment of any rental fees or damages.
Deposit
A deposit rental fee is payable at the time of booking "please see website".
Payments can be made by cheque by post, credit card or debit card on our website.
All cheques must be made payable to V Robinson and can only be accepted if received not less than two weeks before the commencement of the rental.
The balance of the rental payment must be made in cash on arrival on the day your holiday starts
Cancellations
Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason must be in writing. Once the booking has been confirmed the deposit becomes non-refundable. Lakeside Farm Holidays strongly recommends that the Client takes out insurance against cancellation.
Period of Hire
The prices quoted are for each holiday let or camping, holiday start time after 3.00pm leaving at the end of your holiday by 10.00am .
Advertised Facilities.
Not all items, equipment and facilities advertised may be available at all times due to breakdown, malfunction, or other reasons. The management of Lakeside Farm Holidays will try to rectify any malfunctions as soon as possible but no refund of any or all of the money paid by the customer will be made.
Occupation
The number of persons occupying the any property must not exceed the maximum number stated on our website
Lakeside Farm reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.
Services
Electricity and water are included within the rental charge.
Care of the Property
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as was found at the beginning. No candles are to be used in the let or in and around the hot tub.
Fixtures & Fittings
All fixtures, fittings and equipment must be used solely for their intended purpose. Lakeside Farm request that you do not take into any let any portable heaters, lighting equipment or any items that may cause danger to the property, its equipment or its occupants. Any bulky items such as bicycles, fishing or golf equipment are not to be taken into the let; outside storage can be provided.
Breakages, Damage or Missing Items
The Client is legally bound to reimburse Lakeside Farm Holidays for breakages, damage, missing items or excessive cleaning caused by the party during the period of the rental.
Complaints
Lakeside Farm Holidays endeavour to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction during your stay. Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property, it must be notified promptly to the management and in the case of a serious problem confirmed in writing.
Smoking
Following Government legislation Lakeside Farm Holidays operates a no smoking policy within all holiday lets.
Visitors
Only those persons notified to are entitled to occupy the accommodation allocated. If you receive visitors during your stay who are not resident at Lakeside Farm Holidays you must inform the management. You will be held responsible for the behaviour of your visitors while they are on the site.
Pets
Lakeside Farm Holidays operate a no pet's policy.
Late Arrivals
We ask that you inform us of your planned arrival time. You must inform us if your arrival time changes substantially. If you are liable to arrive after 9.00pm you must make arrangements in advance with the Management.
Parking
Parking is allowed near to the holiday let, but we ask in wet conditions that you use the hard standing areas only to protect the grounds. If any of your group has mobility problems please discuss this with Management prior to booking.
Liability
The decking is not fenced and can be slippery therefore care must be taken. The lake is deep water and children must be accompanied at all times. Children must be supervised at all times in the hot tub and must not use the sauna.
Lakeside Farm Holidays cannot accept liability for any damage; expense, injury, death or loss of any nature whatsoever suffered by any person(s) from any cause. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property and no liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property or vehicles.
Force Majeure
Lakeside Farm Holidays cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation where the performance of our contract with you is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to force majeure. These circumstances include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your holiday) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity and all similar situations beyond our control.
Right of Entry
We will not normally enter a property once let without your agreement however employees of
Lakeside Farm Holidays shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Lost Property
A minimum charge of £5 is made for the return of lost property after your departure. Items of lost property can only be held for a maximum of one month after which time they are donated to charity. We cannot be held responsible for items reported lost which cannot be found. Property is at all times the responsibility of the owner.
Privacy
Protecting your privacy is important to us and we will strive to keep your personal information confidential. Your details will be kept on our database to enable us to keep you up to date with any future offers, information or mailings. We do not give any information to third parties or use information gathered in any other way than those described above. If required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information we will do only in accordance with the law.
Naturism
Lakeside Farm welcomes Naturist guests as well as non-Naturist guests, the hot tub sauna and parts of the gardens being ideal for Naturism. We hope that visitors will accept the practise of Naturism whilst not requiring visitors to be naturists or to have naturism imposed upon them. Courteous and respectful behaviour is anticipated and Lakeside Farm Holidays reserve the right to request that people may, who deliberately cause offence or behave in a way that is against accepted naturist behaviour, be asked to leave refunds are not given.
Terms and Conditions
Lakeside Farm Holidays reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
By signing this booking form the holidaymaker accepts the booking conditions stated above and confirms that he/she is over 18 years of age.
